We welcome your constructive comments, both compliments and criticisms. These help us to improve our service to you. You or your carer have the right to expect to pursue any comment without fear of retribution and a prompt, confidential and fair response. Any comments concerning our services or relating to privacy should follow the procedure below.
In the first instance, where possible, comments should be discussed with your Primary Care Nurse. If this is not possible then the Director of Nursing should be contacted either in writing or by phoning 5334 1500. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction the Chief Executive Officer of BDNH should be contacted.
Comments can also be made to the Health Services Commissioner in writing or by telephoning 03 8601 5200 or freecall 1800 136066. If a grievance involves a breech of rights of any person and is of a serious or criminal nature, a report will be made to the relevant authorities. Our aim is to ensure that any problems or concerns are dealt with promptly and effectively by way of a process that ensures BDNH is providing the best possible services to our clients.
