Volunteer Policy
As an integral part of the team, volunteers will:

Be valued for their input, and called upon for their opinions;

Be consulted on all matters that substantially affect the performance of their duties:

Have the opportunity to effect change in BDNH through their suggestions and involvement in program planning;

Be expected to provide feedback and input to their supervisor - Podiatry Receptionist regarding their work with clients.
Key skills we look for in our volunteers include:

The ability to communicate well with clients.

Well groomed with a caring and professional attitude.

Respect for the rights, dignity and culture of others.

Successful completion of a Driver Competency test and must hold a current Victorian driver's license.
Please note:

There is an application process to become a volunteer and appropriate training will be provided and updated annually.

Volunteers must be over 18 years of age and an Australian Citizen.

A successful Police check is mandatory.

Volunteers work usually on an agreed roster on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
